CATABUS - Community Service

CATABUS Community Service (formerly Centre Line) consists of 23 different community bus routes which provide service between Downtown State College, the Penn State Campus, the borough of Bellefonte, the village of Pleasant Gap, suburban shopping centers, apartment complexes, residential areas, governmental offices, and many other special points of interest.

Schedule information: If you know what Route you need search by Route using the alphabetical listing of routes on the left. Live estimated departure times from every stop, including actual bus locations, are available by using the myStop link in the CATABUS Locator box on the left.

Service Calendar: Both Community Service and Campus Service have two different levels of service: Full Service and Reduced Service; there are also days during the year of No Service. In general, Community Service operates on the Full Service schedule whenever Penn State Fall and Spring Semesters are in session and then in Reduced Service the rest of the year with No Service on several of the major holidays. Fare options: A fare is required for every one-way trip on the Community Service routes. Cash, tokens, transfers and passes may be used for fare on any of the CATABUS Community Service routes. Click here for more information on fare options.
