Token Transit Contactless Payment

Token Transit mobile validators are contactless devices installed on all CATA vehicles.

All you need is the Token Transit app, which you can download from the App Store or Google Play. You can purchase, store, and validate your bus fare using the Token Transit app. After downloading the app, purchase your fare directly through it. When you board the bus, have the app open and ready. Then simply scan the QR code on your phone using the validator, and you're good to go!

With this technology, you can:

Skip the Cash: No need for paper tickets or coins—just your phone.

*Please note that riders will still be able to buy fare media and pay with cash.

Speed Up Boarding: Scanning to validate your ticket is quick, which means less time waiting and more time moving.

*Rider Tip - When preparing to board the bus or CATAGO! Vehicle, please ensure the Token Transit app is open and displaying the QR code, so you're ready to board!
