Bus Cleaner
FULL TIME | $18.07 PER HOUR

As a Bus Cleaner at the CATA, your day-to-day responsibilities will include thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing the interior and exterior of buses. You will remove trash, wipe down surfaces, vacuum carpets, and wash windows.

Collaboration with fellow team members is essential, as you'll work closely to maintain efficient operations. Attention to detail is crucial in this role, as a clean bus ensures the satisfaction of our riders. You'll also be responsible for reporting any maintenance issues to the supervisor, helping keep our fleet in peak condition.

Full Time Bus Operator
FULL TIME | $23.70 PER HOUR

As a Bus Operator at CATA, your daily responsibilities will be both dynamic and rewarding. You will begin each shift by conducting pre-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Throughout the day, you'll navigate designated routes, transporting passengers to their destinations efficiently and comfortably. Engaging with passengers, you'll provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere while assisting those who may need help boarding or disembarking. You'll also be responsible for adhering to schedules while managing any unexpected delays or route changes.

Maintenance Supervisor
FULL TIME | $56,772.25 - 64,301 PER YEAR

As a Maintenance Supervisor at the CATA, you will start each day by reviewing maintenance schedules and prioritizing tasks to ensure timely vehicle inspections and repairs. You'll oversee daily operations in the maintenance facility, coordinating shifts and assigning duties to technicians while providing guidance and support as they perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs. Regularly monitoring vehicle conditions, you'll conduct quality checks and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Collaborative communication with team members will be essential as you facilitate daily briefings to discuss updates, challenges, and innovative solutions.

Therefore, the application review process will include one or more of the following: written, oral or performances tests, examinations, or interviews to determine an applicant’s potential for employment with the Authority. In addition to an evaluation of past experience and training, a criminal background and reference check, pre-employment drug screen and if the position requires, a pre-employment physical will be conducted at CATA’s expense.
