CATA Youth Pass
Starting September 1, 2025, youth aged 18 and under can enjoy unlimited access on CATABUS and CATAGO! CATA is now offering 12 months of access for the price of 8 for all youths!
With CATA’s Youth Pass, young riders can enjoy the freedom of transportation. Individuals can catch a movie, participate in after-school programs and practices, go shopping, explore parks, attend campus events, and access many other locations throughout the Centre Region. Youth can do all of this without the hassle of finding a ride or searching for parking. Riders can easily find the nearest bus stops and view CATA’s bus routes using tools like Google Maps or the MyStop app.
Here are the Details!
To obtain a free Youth Pass, students must present one of the following forms of identification at CATA’s customer service center, located at 108 East Beaver Avenue, State College, PA: a current school identification card, a photo ID that includes their date of birth, or a birth certificate as proof of age.
- The 12 for 8 deal is $236.00.
- Regular monthly Youth Pass is $29.50/month.
- Children under 40'' ride free.
- Passes offer unlimited access to all CATABUS and CATAGO! routes.
