Effective June 8–12, 2026
Due to multiple construction projects taking place along Beaver Avenue, detours will be in effect for portions of the Atherton Connector (AC) and College Connector (CC) routes beginning Monday, June 8. These detours are expected to remain in place through Friday, June 12, with normal service resuming on Saturday, June 13.
Construction activities include a full closure of Beaver Avenue between Atherton Street and Burrowes Road, water line work near Addison Court, and roadway patching operations that will result in lane restrictions throughout the week.
Atherton Connector (AC)
The southbound Atherton Connector will be unable to serve the following stops during the detour period:
- Stop #360 – James Elliot Building (S. Burrowes St.)
- Stop #361 – Schlow Library/CATA Customer Service Center (Beaver Ave.)
- Stop #364 – oLiv Highland (S. Pugh St.)
- Stop #365 – S. Pugh St. & E. Nittany Ave.
Affected riders are encouraged to use the following alternate stops:
- Stop #359 – Westgate Building (N. Burrowes Rd.)
- Stop #368 – S. Pugh St. & E. Hamilton Ave.
College Connector (CC)
The westbound College Connector will be unable to serve the following stops during the detour period:
- Stop #361 – Schlow Library/CATA Customer Service Center (Beaver Ave.)
- Stop #565 – Beaver Hill Apartments (E. Beaver Ave. & Heister St.)
Affected riders are encouraged to use the following stops:
- Stop #246 – Beaver Ave. & S. Barnard St.
- Stop #564 – Calder Commons (E. Beaver Ave.)
