Children under 40" always ride free on CATA. With the free annual Youth Pass, kids and teens in high school and younger have greater access to after-school activities, jobs, libraries, parks, and other resources across our community.

FREE Annual Youth Pass
Avoid the hassle of finding a ride, dealing with traffic, or searching for parking.
To obtain a free annual Youth Pass, students must present one of the following forms of identification at CATA’s customer service center, located at 108 E. Beaver Ave., State College: a current school ID, a photo ID with date of birth, or a birth certificate.
Riders can easily locate the nearest bus stops and view CATA’s bus routes using tools like Google Maps or the MyStop app. For CATAGO!, check out the CATAGO! app or call to schedule a ride.
