Please note that while CATA does provide “Lost and Found” service as a convenience to its passengers, it assumes no responsibility for anything left on our buses.

Lost and Found items that are turned into CATA are handled the following way:

All items, except bicycles, are kept for two weeks. After two weeks, items of value (cellphones, wallets, purses, electronics) are taken to State College Borough Police Department. Any other remaining items will be donated to local charities, destroyed, or discarded.

All bicycles are kept for 90 days. After 90 days, bicycles are turned over to the Ferguson Township Police department.
