Pike Street Construction

Starting June 1, Pike St in Lemont will be closed. CC route will not service Lemont stops during this time. Use CATAGO! app or call 814-237-1821 for trips to Medlar Field, Nittany Mall, Walmart Benner Pike, or Hills Plaza.

Stop #848 Blue Course Dr near W College Ave is closed

Due to construction, stop #848 located at Blue Course Dr near W College Ave will be closed. Patrons may use stop #296 Opposite 1506 W College

Stop #161 E College Ave at Your Building Center is closed

Due to construction, stop #161 E College Ave at Your Building Center on the College Connector is closed. 

7/10/26 Oakwood Ave Stop Closures

Due to construction, the following stops are closed. 

Stop #714-Vairo Village, stop #502-658 Oakwood Ave, stop #501-Middle of Oakwood Ave and stop #709-972 Oakwood Ave

Patrons may use the inbound stops to catch the outbound bus.

Valley Vista Construction July 5th -14th

Between July 5th - 14th there will be road work being done on Valley Vista between the hours of 8 pm - 6 am.

AC:  Valley Vista Drive at the Lowe's Center - Stop 470 will be affected. 

W Route: Valley Vista Dr at State College Collect - Stop 435 will be affected.

Please check back for updates on stop closures, as we will not be able to service these stops when they are blocked, and paving is underway in front of the stop

Token Transit

Token Transit Mobile Validators

Starting August 1, 2025, all CATA vehicles will feature Token Transit mobile validators for easy contactless payments via the Token Transit app. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play to purchase fares, then scan the QR code with the validator when you board. *Please note that riders will still be able to buy fare media and pay with cash.

Correction for Map Not Displaying in Apple Devices

After a recent Google update, maps are not properly displayed on Apple devices. Apple users can make an adjustment in the setting of the myStop app to update this issue. Users will navigate to Settings in the myStop app. Once there, the user will need to select Apple Maps under Map Provider (see image below). With Apple Maps selected, users should be able to view the map as intended. Thank you for your patience while this issue is resolved. Thank you for riding CATA!
