CATARIDE Policy on Service Area and Days/Hours of Operation

MEMBER MUNICIPALITIES
State College Borough and the Townships of College, Ferguson, Harris, and Patton

CONTRACTED MUNICIPALITIES
Currently Bellefonte Borough and the Townships of Benner and Spring

Service Area

The CATARIDE service area is within ¾ mile of CATABUS fixed routes and within the boundaries of CATAGO zones. Origins or destinations outside this area will not be served by CATARIDE.

Days of Operation

MEMBER MUNICIPALITIES
CATARIDE operates on all days of the year, regardless of whether CATABUS and/or CATAGO services are operating, with the exceptions of Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

CONTRACTED MUNICIPALITIES
CATARIDE operates on all days of the year when CATABUS and/or CATAGO are operating within those contracted municipalities. CATARIDE service will also operate in the contracted municipalities during the period between Christmas Eve Day and New Year’s Day on days of the week when CATABUS and/or CATAGO service would typically operate in those municipalities, with the exception of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Hours of Operation

MEMBER MUNICIPALITIES
CATARIDE will operate at any time CATABUS and/or CATAGO are operating anywhere in the CATA system.

CONTRACTED MUNICIPALITIES
CATARIDE will operate only at times when CATABUS and/or CATAGO are operating in these municipalities.
