Game Day Detours

On PSU Home Football Game Saturdays, there will be all-day detours on the H, BL, WL, and RL routes due to widespread road closures around Beaver Stadium.

Please review the following information before you ride.

Use the CATA Website or Google Maps to plan your trip before you ride.

There is no service at all stops between McCoy Natatorium (#148) and Nittany Community Center (#159). The Blue Loop will make a stop on Bigler Rd at the Computer Building.

For noon games, the Blue Loop will return to normal routing at 7:00 pm. For 3:30pm games, the Blue Loop will return to normal routing at 10:30 pm.

After servicing the Meridian stop, the bus will follow normal routing to University Dr, where it will turn left on Hastings Rd (Lot 83/Stop #152 will not be serviced), right on Bigler Rd, and left on Curtin Rd, where it will resume normal routing.

For noon games, the White Loop will return to normal routing at 7:00 pm. For 3:30pm games, the White Loop will return to normal routing at 10:30 pm.

The last stop will be Bigler Rd/Computer Bldg (#53). There is no service and no alternative transportation at Curtin Hall (#155)/McCoy Natatorium (#148) and all stops further north.

For noon games, the Red Link will return to normal routing at 7:00 pm.

When the H Toftrees is on gameday detour, there is no H service and no alternative transportation at all stops between East Halls at Curtin Hall (#155)/McCoy Natatorium (#148) and Toftrees Avenue/Alma Mater Drive (#890).

In Toftrees, the H Service will begin/end at The View.

The H serves all regular stops in Toftrees and N. Atherton/Colonnade; however, during the detour, normal inbound stops are served by Toftrees-bound buses, and normal outbound stops are served by campus-bound buses. Trader Joe's Plaza is served only by Toftrees-bound buses.

The H runs express from campus to Trader Joe's Plaza (#497) and from 1870 N Atherton St (#498) to campus, not serving any intermediate stops. The first stop on campus is Pattee Transit Center (#4) and the last stop is Walker Bldg (#285)

When the H is on gameday detour, refer to the timetable provided above before you ride.

If you are having difficulty seeing any CATA Bus route and/or stop information when using the myStop app, please update, or uninstall and reinstall the myStop app. Thank you!

Detours and Service Delays

Due to a route change, the Red Link (RL) does not service Innovation Park or Mount Nittany Medical Center.

Due to a software issue, the current HU Express MyStop map shows stop on Fox Hollow Road. The HU does not service these four stops: only the H route. When clicking the stop(s), a departure time does not show for the HU. CATA is working with their software partners to correct this issue. Thank you for your patience.
