YOUTH RIDE FREE WITH CATA YOUTH PASS!
CATA’s Youth Pass gives riders 18 and under unlimited access to all CATABUS and CATAGO! routes throughout the summer.
With CATA’s free Youth Pass, young riders can make the most of their summer. Individuals can enjoy the community pool, participate in summer practices, go shopping, explore parks, attend campus events, and access many other locations throughout the Centre Region. Youth can do all of this without the hassle of finding a ride, dealing with traffic, or searching for parking. Riders can easily locate the nearest bus stops and view CATA’s bus routes using tools like Google Maps or the MyStop app.
Here are the Details!
To obtain a free Youth Pass, students must present one of the following forms of identification at CATA’s customer service center, located at 108 East Beaver Avenue, State College, PA: a current school identification card, a photo ID that includes their date of birth, or a birth certificate as proof of age.
- The free youth passes will be valid from May 1 through August 31, 2026.
- Children under 40'' ride free.
- Passes offer unlimited access to all CATABUS and CATAGO! routes.
