Every
year CATA service changes are implemented concurrent with the start
of Fall semester. If further refinement of those changes is necessary
or if development and road changes that occur during the Fall require
mid-year changes, they are then implemented in January concurrent
with the start of Spring semester.

buses and at both of our offices.

| The
GREEN LINK and these twelve CENTRE LINE Routes will have schedule
changes starting Monday August 25:
B, G(new),H, K, M, N, R, S, UT, V, W & X
Details
of the changes along with links to the new schedules are provided
below.
The remaining five CENTRE LINE routes (A, C, F, NV &
P) are unchanged and will continue to operate as they
currently do now.

| LOOP
and LINK service changes starting Saturday August 23, 2008: |
| The GREEN LINK
service has been extended out to Atherton St.: The western
end of the GREEN LINK will continue along Curtin Road to
the Pattee Transit Center and then down Burrowes to College
Avenue and back up North Atherton St. where it will take
a right on back on to Curtin Road to the Pattee Transit
Center. This new loop on the western end of the GREEN LINK
will mean the service will follow the WHITE LOOP route from
the Intramural Building to College Avenue and then the BLUE
LOOP route from College Avenue back to the Stadium parking
lots. |

| CENTRE
LINE service changes effective Monday August 25, 2008: |

• Route extended further into
the Hill neighborhood:
The B (Boalsburg) Route has been extended all the
way out to the end of Kimport Avenue to better serve
those living in the newer section of the Hill neighborhood. |

New Service to Grays Woods:
The new G (Grays Woods) Route will extend new service
to Grays Woods, Graysdale, and the new Geisinger
Grays Woods facility. The route will operate a commuter-level
of service, providing five trips each weekday. The
schedule is built around providing service between
Grays Woods/Graysdale and the University during
traditional work hours. |

(Toftrees), K (Cato Park) & W (Valley Vista)

Increased Saturday service on the H, K & W
Routes:
The Saturday service on these three Routes has
been expanded from every 120 minutes on the H
(Toftrees) and W (Valley Vista) and from two trips/day
on the K (Cato Park), to every 60 minutes, 9:00
a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on all three routes.

(Martin St.), R (Waupelani Dr.) & V (Vairo Blvd.) |

Increased evening and Saturday service on the
N, R & V Routes:
The frequency of service has been increased on
the N (Martin St./Aaron Dr.), R (Waupelani Drive)
and V (Vairo Boulevard) Routes, allowing for 32-40
minute frequency daily until 10:00 p.m. year-round
and until 12:30 a.m. nightly during Full Service;
Service will start two hours earlier on Saturdays
and operate twice as frequently: every 32-40 minutes
11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. year-round and until 12:30
a.m. during Full Service.

X Route (Bellefonte/Pleasant Gap): |

Earlier commuter service into Campus:
In response to requests for service arriving on
Campus and in Downtown State College in time for
a 7:30 a.m. work start, earlier inbound trips
have been added to three routes - the X (Bellefonte/Pleasant
Gap), M (Nittany Mall) and S (Science Park) routes.
• New morning X Route trip added:
A
10:15 a.m. X (Bellefonte/Pleasant Gap) Route trip
has been added to improve mid-morning service
to and from Bellefonte and Pleasant Gap.

UT Route (University Terrace) |

The route has been removed from the Free-Fare
zone:
The UT (University
Terrace) Route has been removed from the Free-Fare
zone, meaning it will no longer be free while
on Campus.
